We're looking for tutors who know their subject well and care about how learners feel, not only their marks. You'll teach online, at learners' homes across Gauteng, or at our Menlyn office and Networkspace branches.

What we look for

  • A university degree, or current university study with strong marks in your subjects
  • Strong results in the subjects and curriculum you want to teach (IEB, NSC (CAPS), Cambridge or Montessori)
  • Patience, reliability and clear communication with learners and parents
  • A laptop with a camera and stable internet for online lessons
  • Your own transport if you want to teach at learners' homes

How it works

  1. ApplyThe form below takes about 5 minutes. You get a TA reference by email.
  2. InterviewIf it's a fit, we invite you to a short interview, online or at our Menlyn office. You teach us one topic for 10 minutes.
  3. DecisionWe let you know by email and WhatsApp.
  4. Portal loginApproved tutors get their login for the tutor portal (TutorCruncher). There's no login before approval.
  5. OnboardingID, qualifications, police clearance, tutor agreement, your profile and a short session on how we teach.
  6. Your first learnerWe match you with learners by subject, level and area.
